From Jesse's roots, the crucified and resurrected figure of Christ rises from the creche to bear the tree of Life -- always green, adorned with the twelve rich fruits of discipleship.

O everlasting light, surpassing all created luminaries, flash forth your light from above, piercing all the most inward parts of my heart. Make clean, make glad, make bright, and make alive my spirit, with all of your powers, that I may cleave to you in ecstasies of joy!
